The
International Academy of Aquatic Art (IAAA) is a non-profit organization that is a forum
for truly artistic expression. Participation in organization events will allow swimmers to
develop the sport of synchronized swimming one step further to that of art. To
allow for true artistic development, there must not be placed any restrictions, nor
limitations, nor requirements of any kind on what swimming activities shall constitute a
composition. Furthermore, compositions are rated against high standards of excellence, not
against each other.
